Responsibilities
- Build and operate new cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure for the Altium 365 platform.
- Develop complex distributed, high-load systems and product features for electronics engineers.
- Design data models, APIs, platform frameworks, and stateful or stateless services.
- Work on platform capabilities such as identity and authentication, access or license management, message brokers, distributed caches, search, relational databases, and multi-tenancy.
- Conduct performance profiling, optimization, load testing, and stress testing.
- Influence technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and establish engineering standards and technical governance across multiple teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of .NET experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more of identity and authentication, access or license management, message queues or brokers, distributed caches, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, relational database design and optimization, platform framework development, multi-tenancy, or the Rings Protection Model in cloud development.
- Proven experience building and operating distributed, high-load systems.
- Strong ability to solve complex technical challenges involving engineering software and cloud services.
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and drive architectural decisions.
- Experience defining and driving engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance at a platform level.
- Nice to have experience with Firebird, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure, GCP, or AliCloud.
