Emerging Technology and Transformation Developer - Assistant Vice President
State StreetResponsibilities
- Design and build AI solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Develop integrations with multiple large language models, orchestration layers, prompt management, and agent workflows.
- Write clean, testable, and secure code aligned with enterprise SDLC standards.
- Evaluate AI models, frameworks, platforms, tools, and vendor offerings for capability, scalability, security, and risk.
- Contribute to solution designs, technical documentation, design artifacts, and implementation notes.
- Collaborate with AI/data, architecture, platform, and security teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical depth.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- A few years of professional development experience focused on Python and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for application and AI solution development.
- Practical experience developing Generative AI solutions and working with multiple large language models and related tooling.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI is a plus.
- Understanding of SDLC practices, enterprise-grade software engineering, cloud-native or modern application architectures, databases, and data integration patterns.
- Experience using developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is preferred but not required.
