Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices supporting platform-wide capabilities.
- Develop foundational platform capabilities for authentication and authorization, onboarding, RBAC, reporting, auditing, notifications, and platform APIs.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Datadog and establish logging, tracing, and observability best practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Optimize deployment pipelines to improve reliability and developer efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership in system design, architecture, and scalable service development practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to align platform capabilities and integrations.
- Participate in operational reviews, post-mortems, incident follow-up, and reliability initiatives.
- Reduce technical debt and improve engineering efficiency through automation and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-ready cloud-based systems focused on performance, security, and scalability.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of C#, Go, or Java, with experience in API services, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and cloud-native application design, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, and Terragrunt.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Experience working on platform, core, or shared services teams is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, decision-making, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
