Responsibilities
- Define functional designs and application systems architecture across digital platforms.
- Develop detailed architecture deliverables to solve business problems.
- Oversee cross-platform mobile application architecture and manage technical priorities.
- Evaluate and deploy technologies that enhance digital technical capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into technical direction and lead design discussions.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to engineering teams and guide cross-functional teams toward digital solutions.
- Coordinate dependencies across upstream teams and determine whether capabilities belong in the BFF, existing upstream services, or shared services.
- Support bug triage and coordinate resolution of complex problems spanning multiple teams.
- Ensure solutions address security, performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability requirements.
Requirements
- Experience leading responsive design application development teams.
- Experience with React Native.
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript and Git.
- Understanding of REST APIs and the document request model.
- Ability to assess current and desired states, make pragmatic trade-offs, and define measurable modernization steps.
- Knowledge of application design, data architecture, IT architecture, and platform architecture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Formal education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Passion for design systems, code reusability, and maintainability is preferred.
- Interest in cross-platform mobile development is preferred.
- Leadership experience on strategic projects is preferred.
