Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments.
- Develop and support Terraform Infrastructure as Code modules, reusable configurations, remote state, and multi-environment deployments.
- Configure and standardize backup and disaster recovery processes for cloud services and SaaS platforms.
- Implement secure backup strategies using cross-account replication, encryption, Object Lock, and isolated backup environments.
- Perform production restore testing for databases and critical systems and validate RTO/RPO indicators.
- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash and/or Python.
- Monitor backup jobs and infrastructure reliability and configure alerting mechanisms.
- Create operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures in English.
- Collaborate through merge request workflows and infrastructure reviews and improve cloud resilience and security posture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Organizations, IAM, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, KMS, and EKS.
- Deep understanding of AWS multi-account architecture and cloud security best practices.
- Production-level Terraform experience, including modules, remote state management, and multi-environment deployments.
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Solid Linux administration skills.
- Experience with Bash and/or Python automation and scripting.
- Proven experience implementing production backup and disaster recovery strategies and performing data restoration.
- Experience validating RTO/RPO metrics and writing technical documentation and operational runbooks in English.
- At least an Intermediate level of English.
- Preferred: experience with GitLab APIs, export, repository mirroring, SaaS backup solutions, Microsoft 365 backups, security-focused or high-availability infrastructure, or DefenceTech and other mission-critical domains.
