Base Salary
$139k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts for large-scale or multiple software engineering projects.
- Provide architectural guidance and conduct design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects.
- Conduct code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects and promote reusable design patterns.
- Assess technical and business risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery trade-offs.
- Guide teams on performance, resource usage, scalability, and long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor and coach Software Development Engineers and influence teams across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, TPMs, engineering managers, and technical leaders to drive decisions and delivery.
- Define and communicate metrics for design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption.
- Support compliance, risk management, and sound ethical decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in application development or senior-level enterprise architecture experience as a subject matter expert.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, with a master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking, and software architecture.
- Knowledge of internal and external cloud platforms including AWS, OSE, and Akamai.
- Knowledge of Next Gen Architecture technology and AWS PWS.
- Experience automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD.
- Ability to lead resources, serve as a functional subject matter expert, mentor engineers, and influence teams across the company.
- Strong understanding of engineering best practices, technical risk, design patterns, and software development lifecycle practices.
