Responsibilities
- Lead responses to lower- and moderate-severity security vulnerabilities and participate in high-severity vulnerability response.
- Continuously triage multiple vulnerabilities and distinguish urgent issues from lower-priority matters.
- Collect and analyze application code artifacts to assess potential exploitation impact.
- Research unfamiliar technologies and investigate and resolve security issues.
- Communicate complex vulnerability scenarios clearly to non-technical colleagues.
Requirements
- Require 5–7 years of experience in information security or closely related roles, including direct security vulnerability-response experience.
- Require the ability to manage and triage multiple vulnerabilities and assess priority based on risk and impact.
- Require experience with common security vulnerabilities such as the OWASP Top 10 and familiarity with credential phishing, internal data spillage, and inadvertent data leaks.
- Require application forensics skills and knowledge of networking fundamentals, application protocols, system architecture, software development, and web proxy tools.
- Prefer experience reproducing proof-of-concept exploitation steps and securing applications and infrastructure in AWS and similar IaaS/PaaS platforms.
- Prefer deep application security knowledge, experience in large complex organizations, and relevant certifications such as GIAC GWAPT, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GPEN, GIAC GXPN, or Offensive Security OSCP.
- Require U.S. citizenship, no dual citizenship, operation on U.S. soil, and ability to complete a U.S. federal Minimum Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position.
