Product Vulnerability Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead responses to lower- and moderate-severity security vulnerabilities and participate in high-severity vulnerability response.
- Continuously triage multiple vulnerabilities and distinguish urgent issues from lower-priority matters.
- Collect and analyze application code artifacts to assess potential exploitation impact.
- Research unfamiliar technologies and investigate and resolve security issues.
- Communicate complex vulnerability scenarios clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in information security or closely related roles, including direct security vulnerability response experience.
- Experience managing common security vulnerabilities such as the OWASP Top 10 and familiarity with credential phishing, internal data spillage, and inadvertent data leaks.
- Application forensics skills, including collecting and analyzing code artifacts.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, common application protocols, system architecture, software development basics, web proxy tools, and information security regulations and standards.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in large complex organizations, proof-of-concept exploitation, vulnerability risk assessment, application and infrastructure security in Amazon Web Services or similar IaaS/PaaS platforms, deep application security knowledge, and certifications such as GIAC GWAPT, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GPEN, GIAC GXPN, or Offensive Security OSCP.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, born or naturalized, without dual citizenship, able to work on U.S. soil, and able to complete a U.S. federal Moderate Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position.
