Responsibilities
- Own enterprise migration architecture across the full AWS Migration Acceleration Programme lifecycle.
- Discover migration portfolios, model business cases, prepare funding submissions, and deliver pilot migrations that meet AWS criteria.
- Design and govern secure, scalable, and resilient AWS platforms for complex enterprise workloads.
- Architect large-scale infrastructure, networking, and security solutions using AWS reference architectures.
- Lead landing-zone design and implementation, migration roadmaps, and cloud modernisation programmes.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected principles and provide technical governance for significant cloud workloads.
- Build cloud-native AWS security solutions to prevent, detect, and remediate risks.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to cross-functional delivery teams and communicate complex migration decisions to business audiences.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience delivering across the complete AWS Migration Acceleration Programme lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of MAP funding submission criteria, eligibility thresholds, and required evidence.
- Strong experience designing and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient AWS platforms in production.
- Experience architecting enterprise-scale infrastructure, networking, and security solutions using AWS reference architectures.
- Experience leading landing-zone implementation, migration roadmaps, and modernisation programmes.
- Strong understanding of AWS platform and workload-focused services, including AWS Organizations, CloudTrail, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, IAM, and IAM Identity Center.
- Ability to provide technical governance, set enterprise cloud direction, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with clients and business stakeholders.
- Must be UK-based, able to travel to London customer sites up to three days per week, and eligible to pass UK SC clearance checks; willingness to pass future DV clearance is advantageous.
