Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the reliability posture of the ModernFi network.
- Lead the buildout of an advanced release pipeline.
- Take ownership of our cloud platform and associated tooling.
- Drive our security and compliance posture.
- Upgrade the on-call processes and participate in the rotation.
- Partner with product engineering to enhance platform efficiency.
- Cultivate a culture of operational excellence through mentorship and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure or reliability.
- Deep fluency with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- A security mindset with familiarity in compliance frameworks and security practices.
- Hands-on experience with modern observability stacks and defining SLOs.
- Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from provisioning to recovery.
- Experience working with small, fast-moving engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
- High level of empathy, integrity, and calmness under pressure.
