Responsibilities
- Own complex Forward Deployed technical workstreams from discovery and planning through validation and handover.
- Define delivery approaches, plans, quality measures, and acceptance criteria within established architecture and governance.
- Translate customer requirements, workflows, data, integrations, and deployment constraints into working thin-slice solutions.
- Build, configure, integrate, prototype, test, troubleshoot, and validate AVEVA solutions in customer environments.
- Resolve non-routine technical issues involving APIs, data flows, configuration, AI, security, performance, scalability, and deployment.
- Coordinate engineers and cross-functional contributors while leading technical discovery, demonstrations, testing, acceptance, and production-readiness activities.
- Create reusable connectors, configurations, templates, components, AI patterns, accelerators, and implementation playbooks.
- Capture product gaps, constraints, technical learning, and improvement opportunities for Product, R&D, architects, leads, and future engagements.
Requirements
- Around 8–10 years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated capability in industrial technology implementation and complex technical delivery.
- Deep hands-on experience configuring, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, validating, and handing over AVEVA solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AVEVA products, industrial data, customer workflows and systems, APIs, cloud/edge environments, security, performance, and deployment constraints.
- Software development experience using AI techniques and models combined with application engineering expertise.
- Strong software design, implementation, programming, connector, data-flow, scripting, and system-integration capability.
- Experience developing AI agents, skills, tools, and plugins using an agentic framework, preferably MAF.
- Practical awareness of AI/ML and generative AI use cases and experience with AI tools for the software development lifecycle such as Copilot.
- Ability to make implementation trade-offs, apply domain context to technical scoping and validation, communicate with customers, coordinate contributors, and coach less-experienced engineers while remaining hands-on.
