Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, document, and support software applications, modules, frameworks, and enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain headless CMS-driven experiences and modern web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Lead software development, systems integration, API activities, and application integrations with internal teams, vendors, and users.
- Develop and host cloud-based applications in Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, and support deployment and CI/CD processes.
- Analyze business and system requirements, present designs and prototypes, and recommend system modifications or replacements.
- Maintain existing applications, coding standards, documentation, operational instructions, data integrity, performance, security, synchronization, and accessibility.
- Advise software developers, systems analysts, and other technical staff while leading initiatives and mentoring team members.
- Research software products, services, trends, and platform capabilities to support organizational technology goals.
- Train end users, provide technical support, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Incorporate AI tools and capabilities responsibly and securely in development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in systems development, programming, analytics, and database administration.
- Knowledge of software development procedures, change management, Microsoft technologies, application programming interfaces, ERP systems, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organization, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to translate complex data and requirements into understandable conclusions, recommendations, designs, and solutions.
- Ability to deliver defined outcomes with limited supervision while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality and scope.
- Ability to work on-call outside traditional business hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Workday Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Prism is preferred.
