Base Salary

$75k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions using the Appian platform.
  • Work across the full project lifecycle with customers and their technical teams and business users.
  • Understand client business processes and technical needs and gather system requirements.
  • Launch relational data models into production and develop APIs integrating multiple systems.
  • Brainstorm AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment and participate in development activities such as pair programming, stand-ups, planning sessions, and sprints.
  • Drive customer adoption by enabling clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for candidates considered for public-sector roles.
  • Ability to gather functional and technical requirements and define business processes with clients.
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, database design, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Experience or knowledge of software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, APIs, REST, SOAP, JDBC connections, and web services.
  • Familiarity with AWS, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, databases, developer tools, management and governance, and elastic containers is preferred.
  • Strong communication, continuous learning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20% or less annually for customer engagements.
