Base Salary
$93k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy applications and infrastructure on private or public cloud platforms and comparable high-availability environments.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Work full-time on-site at the customer location in Washington, DC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience with major cloud service providers.
- Experience with cloud development and deployment activities.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with cloud-native application design, including microservices, containers, or serverless architectures, is desired.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration tools is desired.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, ELK, or OpenSearch is desired.
- Knowledge of cost management tools and FinOps practices is desired.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are desired.
