Base Salary

$30 - $48/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve web-based user interfaces for system status, health monitoring, facility configuration, alerts, events, and diagnostics.
  • Assist in building backend services for real-time and historical facility data, configuration, metadata, and system state.
  • Integrate UI applications, backend APIs, controls systems, facility systems, and data pipelines.
  • Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and help test, debug, and validate software used in live environments.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; junior, senior, or graduate students are preferred.
  • Coursework or experience in software development fundamentals and web or backend programming.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Python.
  • Basic understanding of client-server applications, APIs, data flow, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Able to work full time onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning between mid-May and mid-June 2027.
  • Bonus qualifications include React or other modern UI frameworks, REST or event-based APIs, Git, Docker, time-series or telemetry data, industrial systems, automation, controls, data visualization, MATLAB, CAD software, or Excel.
  • Six or more months of prior internship, co-op, or extracurricular academic project experience and a GPA of 3.5 or above are additional bonus qualifications.
