Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance new or revised business application systems in coordination with the Technology team.
- Analyze application, business-process, and system issues and implement recommended solutions.
- Write basic code based on design specifications and conduct testing and debugging.
- Evaluate options and recommend improvements when situations are not covered by established procedures.
- Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications.
- Assess risk, comply with applicable laws and policies, safeguard company and client assets, and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with programming and debugging used in business applications.
- Experience with .NET and Java programming languages.
- Working knowledge of industry practices, standards, programming languages, and application-development concepts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of a specific business area relevant to application development.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Official disability certification issued under the procedure established by Colombia’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
