Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software solutions and new features using multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including difficult live-site problems, and build automation for high-scale distributed services.
- Write high-performance, thread-safe code capable of serving requests in sub-millisecond times.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and Test-Driven Development practices.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment, runtime platform maintenance, feature integration, and release fixes.
- Develop and maintain applications in AWS or Azure, including scalable cloud solutions and infrastructure automation.
- Use SQL and ORM frameworks for database querying, updates, schema management, and CRUD operations.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing project requirements and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- At least five years of experience with Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
- At least five years of experience writing high-performance, thread-safe code serving requests in sub-millisecond times.
- At least five years of experience debugging difficult live-site problems and building automation for high-scale distributed systems.
- At least five years of experience developing applications in AWS or Azure.
- At least seven years of professional software engineering experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with cloud computing, scripting and programming, systems and infrastructure, technical requirements analysis, DevOps practices, SQL, PaaS, ORM frameworks, and TDD methodologies.
- Advanced AWS or Azure certification is preferred.
- Ability to travel 10%.
