Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop cyber plans and procedures for a complex satellite ground-system environment.
- Work with systems engineers to develop solutions that manage cybersecurity risks and harden systems.
- Perform cybersecurity scans, analyze results, mitigate vulnerabilities, and conduct technical security assessments.
- Automate cybersecurity workflows and system processes using Ansible playbooks, Python, and Bash scripts.
- Maintain cybersecurity tools, development assets, and code repositories in GitLab.
- Generate documentation required to achieve system approval to operate.
- Lead cyber test events and coordinate test execution with customers and ASCA stakeholders.
- Interface directly with customers and deliver demonstrations and presentations on cybersecurity processes, tools, and automation techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science, or relevant experience in lieu of education.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance; a DoD Secret clearance is required at minimum.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools including ACAS and HBSS.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including DISA SCAP Scans and DISA STIGs.
- Experience hardening operating systems, network devices, LDAP, Active Directory, ESXi, virtual machines, and related infrastructure services.
- Experience with incident response and management.
- Ability to communicate technical information through written materials and oral presentations.
- Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar credentials.
- Preferred experience includes DoD embedded-systems development, networking fundamentals, programming languages, operating systems, RMF, ethical hacking, penetration testing, Jira, Confluence, and OPIR missions.
- Ability to work full time onsite in Boulder, Colorado and live nearby or relocate to the area.
