Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software features for Cisco Phone and Room collaboration devices.
- Develop performance-critical, device-level applications for embedded systems or network devices.
- Use Python or Java for scripting, automation, application development, and integration within device software.
- Build and manage production-ready CI/CD pipelines and write automation tests.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Use Git and command-line tools to support development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related software development experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of related software development experience.
- Experience with C and C++ programming for performance-critical, device-level applications.
- Experience developing software for embedded systems or network devices.
- Experience using Python or Java for scripting, automation, application development, and device-software integration.
- Experience with production-ready CI/CD pipelines and automation testing.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and command-line development tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills are preferred.
