Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain reliable and secure API integrations for exchanging orders, menus, status updates, and other critical data with restaurant POS and ERP systems.
- Develop primarily backend software using one or more core languages including Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, C#, Scala, or Rust.
- Query, synchronize, and model restaurant data while supporting data integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and experienced engineers to understand integration requirements and implement solutions.
- Own well-scoped tasks and features through implementation, testing, and deployment with team support.
- Collaborate with teams and projects across more than 20 countries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience as a Backend or Integration Software Engineer.
- Ability to write production-ready code in at least one of Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, Scala, Rust, or C#.
- Some experience contributing to real projects and describing the candidate’s contributions.
- Good English proficiency for global collaboration.
- Willingness to learn and grow, enthusiasm for technical challenges, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
