Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture for enterprise generative AI applications, LLM-powered workflows, agentic systems, and intelligent automation.
  • Design modular, reusable AI components and services for multiple platforms and business use cases.
  • Define architecture patterns for agent orchestration, tool integration, memory management, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure measurable business impact and architectural integrity.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, legal, privacy, quality, and platform engineering teams on regulatory, security, and quality requirements.
  • Architect secure and scalable data pipelines for AI workloads.
  • Evaluate and integrate Azure, AWS, and Snowflake for cloud-native AI solutions.
  • Guide decisions involving model hosting, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, monitoring, and MLOps/LLMOps.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, observability, operational excellence, ethical AI, privacy, security, and compliance by design.
  • Support risk assessments, model reviews, and documentation for enterprise and regulated environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, software architecture, or AI/ML engineering, including recent hands-on generative AI experience.
  • Experience designing and deploying LLM-based solutions using retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and model integration.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures in Azure and/or AWS and modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale regulated environments with security, compliance, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Preferred experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embedding strategies, and search optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on MLOps/LLMOps experience, including model monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience defining reference architectures, design patterns, and reusable AI platforms.

  • Anticipated base salary range is $106800 to $202900 per year, with benefits and potential variable compensation subject to eligibility and applicable plans.
