Responsibilities

  • Integrate generative AI solutions, RAG pipelines, vector embeddings, semantic search, LLMs, agents, MCP tools, and MCP servers.
  • Develop Python backend services, APIs, microservices, data connectors, and integrations with databases, internal services, and external systems.
  • Build lightweight web interfaces, prototypes, demonstrators, and internal tools while integrating frontend, backend, AI, database, and external-system components.
  • Create and optimize Docker images and develop, maintain, and deploy Helm charts in Kubernetes environments.
  • Automate deployments, configurations, and execution environments and diagnose container, dependency, configuration, and Kubernetes issues.
  • Participate in prototyping, experimentation, evaluation, documentation, testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement in a multidisciplinary R&D team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a relevant related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in software, full-stack, backend, software infrastructure, or DevOps development.
  • Experience with Python, GitLab CI or comparable CI/CD tools, Docker, databases and database deployment, and ETL-style data flows.
  • Experience with AI, generative AI, or machine learning, including deploying AI/ML models with FastAPI.
  • Experience with generative-AI or agentic-system frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or equivalents.
  • Experience with RAG pipelines, vector embeddings, vector databases, or semantic search.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or cloud-native environments, including creating, modifying, or deploying Helm charts.
  • Ability to develop backend services, APIs, microservices, integration components, web interfaces, prototypes, internal tools, and technical demonstrators.
  • Good understanding of Linux environments, scripting, application configuration, and technical diagnosis.
  • French fluency and ability to work in English in a technical and international context.
  • Preferred qualifications include MCP protocol experience, modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, application security and secrets-management knowledge, and defense or Canadian Armed Forces experience.
  • Must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for Canadian controlled-goods access and a Canadian NATO Secret clearance.
