Responsibilities
- Identify business stakeholders, goals, objectives, functionality, quality characteristics, and constraints.
- Develop business, information, and technology architecture mappings and an architecture vision.
- Use trade-off analysis, proof-of-concept implementations, and benchmarking to evaluate architecture decisions.
- Establish and manage architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to major stakeholders.
- Review downstream design decisions and validate alignment with the solution architecture vision.
- Guide software development, testing, deployment, and project management activities.
- Support solution delivery projects and analyze business, product, and technology requirements.
Requirements
- Fluent English and more than 7 years of commercial software development experience.
- More than 3 years of commercial solution architecture design experience.
- Experience with data management, data integration, data transformation, microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes, architectural and design patterns, algorithms, programming paradigms and principles, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Databricks, Azure Service Bus, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, and .NET Core 3.
- Strong client-facing, business consulting, communication, visual communication, stakeholder engagement, and senior decision-maker influencing skills.
- Experience leading and supporting medium- to large-scale solution delivery projects.
- Desirable qualifications include architecture framework certifications such as SEI or TOGAF, Microsoft Azure certifications, delivery-process certifications, release or configuration management tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, pre-sales, proposal or bid preparation, and Databricks experience.
