Responsibilities
- Make architecture-compliant design and implementation decisions focused on scalability, security, and performance.
- Promote software design patterns, code quality, documentation, testing, monitoring, and other engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using .NET technologies.
- Design and implement reusable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Engineering Manager on delivery capacity and technical feasibility.
- Analyze epics and features and support engineering backlog prioritization.
- Review user stories, develop features, conduct code reviews, and establish automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deliver tasks on time, present new features, and resolve client-reported bugs.
- Stay current with software development trends and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including C# and Microsoft .NET, together with DevOps experience.
- Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a backend-first mindset and strong architectural skills.
- Proven experience building .NET REST APIs; OData experience is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Strong SQL Server expertise, including database design, optimization, indexing, performance tuning, data modeling, normalization and denormalization, query optimization, and database migrations.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design patterns and principles, including GoF and SOLID.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, peer code reviews, SonarQube, automated testing, application monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, especially AKS.
- Familiarity with Service Bus, Event Hub, and Kafka messaging platforms.
- Strong background in distributed systems, REST API design, asynchronous messaging, and cloud-native patterns.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and English-language skills, with comfort working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
