Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable backend services for Incogni and Ironwall.
- Lead architectural decisions involving domain modeling, service boundaries, infrastructure, and deployment strategies.
- Drive the evolution of the service platform with senior and lead engineers.
- Identify system bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements for long-term growth.
- Own complex technical initiatives from design through production.
- Write clean, well-tested code and improve engineering standards across the team.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production-grade backend platforms and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, microservice architecture, and RESTful API design principles.
- Ability to work across different programming languages and technology stacks.
- Experience with databases, messaging systems, and distributed components.
- Experience serving millions of requests is a bonus.
- Proficiency in at least two backend languages such as PHP, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript is a bonus.
- Experience designing for reliability, observability, and operational concerns is a bonus.
