Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale a production video collection product used by contributors, partners, and internal teams.
- Ship full-stack features across frontend, backend APIs, and underlying systems.
- Develop mobile features for easy video capture and submission.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and developer velocity.
- Build internal tools and workflows that make operations, QA, and data delivery fast and consistent.
- Work with customers and operators to translate needs into product features and ship iteratively.
- Own projects end-to-end.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering skills and the ability to take projects from idea to production.
- Strong TypeScript and modern frontend experience, preferably with React and Next.js.
- Mobile development experience with React Native, particularly for media capture or upload flows.
- Backend experience in Python or Go with solid API and database fundamentals.
- Comfort working across reliability, performance, observability, product, and systems concerns.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- High ownership and urgency, including willingness to work late nights and weekends when needed.
- Experience as an early startup hire is a bonus.
- A history of shipping high-quality products used by real users is a bonus.
- Experience building simple tooling, minimal internal APIs, or Svelte dashboards is a bonus.
- An active GitHub profile or portfolio projects is a bonus.
- In-person availability at the San Francisco headquarters is required.
