Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug software products using systematic tests to maintain quality standards.
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and automated scripts.
- Enhance existing automation tools for improved maintainability.
- Document test results to assist in debugging and software modification.
- Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective actions.
- Consult with development engineers to resolve issues.
- Provide feedback on programming languages and systems.
- Maintain and improve automated testing and continuous integration systems.
- Collaborate with security and software engineers for system-level testing.
- Interface with sales and customers to diagnose and resolve field issues.
- Learn new technologies to build tools and improve productivity.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in Software Quality Engineering, with at least 3 years as SDET.
- Proficient in Javascript and/or Typescript.
- Experience developing internal tools to enhance developer productivity.
- Excellent debugging skills in multi-tier web architecture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with automation framework design and development.
- Experience writing backend integration tests for RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in FE Test Automation tools like TestCafe, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with BDD tools.
- CI tooling experience with Github Actions or similar.
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience analyzing logs.
- Experience testing agentic systems.
