Responsibilities
- Engage with customers’ technical architects and business stakeholders to provide technical solutions and product training.
- Link business processes with technical solutions to drive business outcomes.
- Execute delivery methodology to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and drive successful resolutions.
- Prototype and catalog new solutions to address business pain points.
- Consult on architecture, indexing, searching, and UI best practices.
- Expand relationships and product usage within the enterprise segment.
- Engage in customer calls and on-site visits to align on product roadmaps.
- Develop detailed action plans, roadmaps, and final recommendation documents.
- Partner with internal roles to understand project goals and deliverables.
- Create reusable solutions content and tools to enhance customer engagement.
- Inform and evolve the product ecosystem by advocating for customer needs.
- Work with Engineering to track and resolve feature requests and bugs.
- Stay informed on product changes and disseminate information internally and to customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, technical, and consultative role.
- Desire to help people solve problems and explain complex technical concepts.
- Experience implementing or optimizing Search & Discovery experiences, ideally in e-commerce.
- Proficient in data modeling and flattening relational data.
- Proficient in Javascript/HTML/CSS for front-end development.
- Proficient in a backend framework such as Node, Rails, or Django.
- Polished consulting skills and awareness of sensitive client topics.
- Lifelong learning and growth mindset.
- Ability to navigate client messaging and recommendations tactfully.
- Ability to establish credibility with Senior Executives and team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with project management experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with attention to detail.
- Ability to define dependencies and outline mitigation plans against risks.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
