Responsibilities
- Guide a software development team’s technical direction and make architectural decisions.
- Develop cloud microservices, infrastructure, and web applications for SaaS applications.
- Perform critical coding, prototyping, debugging, profiling, and bottleneck analysis.
- Define technical standards, optimize development processes, and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex technical roadblocks.
- Oversee project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to align technical and business goals.
- Provide production support for cloud deployments, including incident troubleshooting and resolution.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, or a foreign equivalent.
- At least three years of post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or an engineering/developer-related role.
- At least three years of cloud software development experience covering cloud programming, cloud architecture, and database management.
- At least three years of experience with Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
- At least three years of experience building microservices with Golang, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- At least three years of experience with Docker, Terraform, Argo, and Prometheus.
- At least three years of experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and OpenAPI.
- At least three years of experience with Angular, HTML, Node.js, and CSS.
- At least three years of experience with GitOps, Azure DevOps, Bash, Linux, and NoSQL databases.
- At least three years of experience designing SaaS cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures.
- At least three years of experience with project management, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- At least three years of experience supporting cloud deployments and debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents.
