Responsibilities
- Analyze critical security vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance.
- Detect, reverse engineer, and patch live exploits reported to MSRC.
- Use AI and traditional tooling to find and analyze vulnerabilities at scale.
- Develop tools and techniques to improve vulnerability-analysis workflows.
- Research and innovate in security mitigations for Microsoft products and services.
- Analyze bug trends to inform security research and Microsoft security strategy.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
- Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection, or a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and debug C and/or C++ code.
- Proficiency developing tools and automation to identify or verify security issues and scale analysis workflows.
- Knowledge of software vulnerabilities, exploitation, and prevention.
- Experience conducting security research on Windows/Linux systems.
