Senior Platform Engineer (Money Movement Systems)

Responsibilities
- Own integration tests, formal verification, and chaos testing across the ledger, netting algorithm, money movement, and payment-ordering systems.
- Build correctness guarantees that allow the team to ship faster with confidence.
- Design and build internal tools that improve team productivity.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, development environments, and deployment infrastructure.
- Add observability through logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Help establish responsible use of AI-assisted development in core financial infrastructure while preserving correctness guarantees.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering, developer tooling, infrastructure, or reliability engineering.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and TypeScript.
- Experience building test infrastructure for correctness-critical systems such as payments, trading, ledgers, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of state, ordering, idempotency, failure modes, and consistency in distributed systems.
- Experience with formal verification, property-based testing, or chaos engineering is preferred.
- Experience with Temporal or TigerBeetle is a plus.
