Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs for business and user needs.
- Monitor and control analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support activities.
- Analyze complex application problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Develop security measures and perform post-implementation analysis of business usage.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Lead the design and architecture of major features or new services using strong Java development skills.
- Define operating standards and processes and mentor or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, and control risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Java development skills and practical problem-solving ability.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Ability to lead the design and architecture of major features or new services.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
- Good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge through team presentations or sessions.
- Interest in experimenting with AI development agents such as Devin to assess capabilities, limitations, and test-case generation.
