Responsibilities
- Establish the roadmap and architecture based on technology considerations and customer needs.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Help lead large projects from ideation through successful execution.
- Unblock, support, and communicate with internal and external partners.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks and promote appropriate engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages.
- A BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A strong background in distributed systems.
- Proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- Python and Go experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with AI tooling such as Claude Code or Cursor is a nice-to-have.
