Responsibilities
- Lead customer meetings, discovery calls, workshops, and product demonstrations as the technical lead.
- Explain DNS resolution, DNSSEC, zone management, registries, and registrars in the context of identity and trust.
- Advise customers on networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, routing, load balancing, and CDNs.
- Guide customers on PKI, certificate lifecycle management, certificate authorities, chains of trust, mTLS, and key management.
- Advise on agentic AI protocols including MCP and A2A for agent discovery, identity, authentication, and authorization.
- Design and build proofs of concept and prototypes demonstrating solutions to customer problems.
- Translate customer requirements into solution architectures, integration plans, and technical documentation.
- Answer technical questions in RFPs, security reviews, and solution proposals.
- Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams to inform the roadmap.
- Create reusable demos, reference architectures, and enablement content for sales and partner teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of DNS, including DNSSEC, record types, resolvers, and authoritative servers.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S, and common network architectures.
- Practical PKI experience with X.509 certificates, certificate authorities, certificate lifecycle management, and mTLS.
- Working knowledge of agentic AI and LLM integration, including MCP and A2A.
- Ability to build proofs of concept using Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages and REST APIs.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with a domain registry, registrar, DNS provider, certificate authority, or CDN is preferred.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, DIDs, or verifiable credentials is preferred.
- Experience building AI agents with LangChain, LangGraph, the OpenAI SDKs, or Anthropic SDKs is preferred.
- Knowledge of IETF, ICANN, and W3C is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or a cloud architect certification are preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
