Responsibilities

Write clean, scalable, and testable code as a Full-Stack Engineer primarily using Ruby and React.
Own and evolve core foundational systems, including shared libraries and UI components.
Collaborate through pairing, solution designs, and thoughtful code reviews.
Coach other developers to raise the bar for engineering excellence.
Partner with engineers across Core Services to ensure seamless integration of changes.
Maintain and support the services owned by your team, ensuring they are secure and performant.
Instrument services for trustworthy and actionable reporting.

Experience with Ruby and React or proficiency in comparable modern languages/frameworks.
A track record of building web applications with strong fundamentals in data modeling and security.
Experience working in or around AWS and modern observability practices is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience improving existing systems for simplicity and maintainability.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge with team members.
Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
