Base Salary
$163k - $281k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority and lead solution development for the program.
- Direct architecture and design of modular, independently deployable services integrated through APIs.
- Provide hands-on technical direction across engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud teams.
- Lead Agile delivery and mature DevSecOps, automated testing, code quality, and secure coding practices.
- Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and release management.
- Deploy and manage mission-critical applications in AWS and other cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud service performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Lead production delivery, systems integration, technical reviews, demonstrations, and release activities.
- Ensure adherence to NIST guidance, FedRAMP-authorized environments, Section 508, and federal cloud security requirements.
- Mentor engineers, coordinate technical stakeholders, and communicate architectural decisions, risks, and tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead or equivalent on large-scale, complex IT programs.
- Extensive experience leading Agile development teams and implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Proven expertise designing and managing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing applications within AWS cloud environments.
- Track record of delivering complex enterprise-level solutions into production.
- Strong understanding of federal IT security standards, including NIST guidance and Section 508 compliance.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and managing cross-functional engineering efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with GSA or other federal acquisition modernization initiatives is desired.
- AWS or other cloud certification and security-focused certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are desired.
- Agile leadership certifications such as SAFe or Scrum are desired.
- Experience integrating intelligent automation or AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise cloud systems is desired.
- Applicants must meet U.S. Government security-clearance eligibility requirements; only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
