Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop high-performance modular web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Own the Clover Dashboard client-side architecture, frontend best practices, state-management standards, and component libraries.
- Build, consume, and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL or event-driven endpoints.
- Partner with Product, UX, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, responsive, accessible web workflows.
- Own client services and features from design through deployment, automated UI testing, and production monitoring.
- Evaluate frontend technologies and improve UI responsiveness, web performance, and frontend architecture.
- Promote AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, test generation, code review, and UI performance profiling.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, release management, and cross-functional agile rituals.
- Coach and mentor team members on frontend capabilities, web performance, and UI testing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience with a proven focus on frontend or web engineering.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript, including client-side state management, build tooling, and web performance optimization.
- Strong full-stack capabilities and working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for backend microservices.
- Hands-on experience with modern CSS frameworks, component design systems, and responsive web design.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and automated test suites.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design, HTTP and browser protocols, OAuth2, CORS, and relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience with micro-frontend architectures, Webpack Module Federation, Python, Node.js, GraphQL, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred background in fintech, e-commerce, point-of-sale platforms, merchant analytics, or re-architecting client-side monoliths.
