Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Design, construct, test, implement, monitor, and support application systems and programs.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate system usage and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and assist with customer-facing system exposure and support.
- Define operating standards and processes and ensure required procedures are followed.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, advisor, and coach to senior stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot application development.
- Experience with SQL/databases, microservices, ECS, Docker, CI/CD, and logging or monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot and Devin.
- Good knowledge of design patterns and experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
