Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software across requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create scalable, documented technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and coach teammates on clean, reliable software practices.
- Identify operational root causes and implement permanent fixes to improve system reliability and operational processes.
- Evaluate technologies, recommend appropriate adoption, and contribute to architecture and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
