Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, coding, testing, debugging, and integration of software components and systems.
- Develop tools and applications supporting autonomous robotics and aerospace platforms.
- Contribute to prototypes, simulations, proof-of-concept demonstrations, scripts, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers through code reviews, documentation, meetings, and development planning.
- Use version control and defect tracking tools while applying software development best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Python, C++, or Java and experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse, or similar development tools and IDEs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux or Windows development, web technologies, cloud platforms, backend services, robotics, autonomous systems, data analytics, Bash scripting, and Agile or version-control practices.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR/EAR requirements as a U.S. person or be eligible for an export license; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
