Responsibilities
- Help establish the roadmap and architecture based on technology and customer needs.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks while promoting appropriate engineering practices.
- Help lead large projects from idea through successful execution.
- Unblock, support, and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
- Execute integrations with partners and collaborate with engineers on system design.
- Work with Product, Design, Science, and Operations partners to shape product direction and deliver business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Python or Golang experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to write clear, scalable design documentation.
- Ability to design, build, and improve team-owned software components.
