Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the GPU system software stack.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and drive new product introduction execution with a focus on development velocity and quality.
- Drive system software integration for next-generation GPU accelerators in Google data centers.
- Develop, integrate, and validate data center GPU software, kernel drivers, and firmware.
- Develop unit, integration, and system-level test suites for system software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software, firmware, and driver development using languages such as C or C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience developing device drivers for GPUs, PCIe switches, I2C, USB, and PCIe connectivity buses.
- Preferred: experience debugging, developing, and testing in Linux.
- Preferred: experience with server system architecture, networking, or embedded systems.
- Preferred: experience using Git or Perforce revision control systems.
- Preferred: problem-solving and technical innovation experience.
