Responsibilities
- Design, script, configure, and run performance tests for software applications and infrastructure.
- Condition test data to simulate performance test scenarios.
- Use JMeter for load testing and AppDynamics and Fiddler to capture and analyze performance information.
- Enhance programming and scripting skills through automation framework work with senior performance engineers.
- Analyze product code and work with Development and Architecture teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Use SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and SQL Server to execute database-intensive test cases.
- Gain hands-on experience with on-premises to cloud evolution and cloud technologies.
- Learn software development, testing, collaboration, requirements-gathering, and product delivery processes.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and database fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle concepts.
- Basic programming knowledge in one or more of C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Rust, Lua, or Haskell.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
