Base Salary
$152k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of large-scale front-end applications, including modular architecture, state management, and cross-team code-sharing standards.
- Define the long-term technical roadmap for Cisco’s enterprise Angular ecosystem and advanced Angular patterns.
- Govern the design-to-code workflow and evolve the design system, aligning Figma and Adobe XD assets with Angular components and design tokens.
- Partner with design leads and product management to align technical capabilities with intuitive, high-fidelity user journeys.
- Set enterprise standards for accessibility, performance optimization, and AI-enabled interface patterns.
- Mentor and influence senior engineers through architectural deep-dives, technical consensus-building, and design-driven engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
- Experience using Figma or Adobe XD for architectural and interface design work.
- Experience with Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript.
- Preferred experience architecting front-end solutions for AI-driven platforms, including LLM interfaces or agentic UI.
- Preferred experience with design-token management and connecting designer and developer workflows.
- Preferred understanding of Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals in Angular applications.
- Preferred ability to use behavioral analytics and heatmaps to improve user interfaces.
- Preferred experience designing interfaces that integrate LLM outputs or Copilot-style assistants.
- Strong communication, technical-consensus, and architectural-explanation skills; Cisco networking knowledge is a plus.
