Responsibilities

Own and deliver quarterly goals for the engineering team.
Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
Identify and advocate for project, process, technology, or business issues.
Create and monitor metrics to support team operations and availability.

4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
Proficiency in languages like Python or Kotlin.
Experience with highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Ability to define technical plans for significant features or system components.
Strong ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback-seeking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
