Responsibilities
- Manage Canonical’s entire Atlassian Cloud ecosystem.
- Design, document, and implement Jira processes and automation.
- Design, document, and implement integrations between Jira and the data warehouse.
- Create analytical dashboards that support data-driven stakeholder decisions.
- Create scalable learning resources.
- Work with global engineering, operations, and support teams.
- Own critical escalations and resolve them in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience administering Atlassian Jira and its ecosystem.
- Experience as a software developer using Python.
- Understanding of common Jira usage patterns across technical and non-technical departments.
- Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with diverse global stakeholders while remaining motivated, productive, and organized.
- Ability to travel internationally twice yearly for company events lasting up to two weeks.
- Knowledge of process architecture is preferred.
- Experience with complex cross-project automation is preferred.
