Responsibilities
- Learn, evaluate, and use AI tools to write code more efficiently.
- Communicate with engineering teams to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Create or evaluate software solutions and workflows that remove inefficiencies.
- Work with design engineers to determine how AI can support their work.
- Add requested features to existing workflows and fix bugs.
- Create training documentation and train engineers to use new workflows.
- Complete the co-op term prior to graduation.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program.
- Must be available to work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from January through June 2027.
- Background in software development.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, UNIX, Python, VSCode, and AI tools.
