Responsibilities

  • Learn, evaluate, and use AI tools to write code more efficiently.
  • Communicate with engineering teams to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Create or evaluate software solutions and workflows that remove inefficiencies.
  • Work with design engineers to determine how AI can support their work.
  • Add requested features to existing workflows and fix bugs.
  • Create training documentation and train engineers to use new workflows.
  • Complete the co-op term prior to graduation.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program.
  • Must be available to work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from January through June 2027.
  • Background in software development.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, UNIX, Python, VSCode, and AI tools.
