Responsibilities

Review product design and suggest improvements from a testability and user perspective.
Understand Data Plane architecture and packet processing for application traffic and security inspection.
Design and deliver effective and automatable test plans.
Write test automation for large parallelized CI/CD Infrastructure.
Conduct code reviews for automation and product code.
Analyze and recommend automation tools.
Simulate negative scenarios and perform chaos testing.
Handle customer escalations and work with development teams on root cause analysis.
Collaborate with development, product management, and support teams throughout product development.
Perform real-time content analysis for security measures.
Conduct deep inspection of traffic to detect and mitigate threats.
Write and maintain product or system development code.
Develop automation scripts and maintain documentation.
Build and maintain services for inspecting various network protocols.
Provide feedback on code developed by team members.
Contribute to the architecture and design of distributed systems.

8+ years of experience in automated testing and frameworks for enterprise software.
Experience in network and web security technologies.
Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, and TLS/SSL.
Good fundamentals of TCP, TLS, and HTTP protocols.
Http proxy experience is required.
Programming mastery in Python.
Strong understanding of computer architecture and multi-threading.
Expertise in RESTful Web Service automation.
Strong expertise in cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with message protocols like KAFKA and NATS.
Proficient in packet capture technologies like Wireshark and tcpdump.
Experience in data plane testing for security products.
Well-versed with automation tools like Robot framework and Selenium.
Extensive knowledge of Linux at a systems level.
Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with performance optimization of complex systems.
Hands-on experience with packet capture technologies.
Experience in SASE architecture is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Authentication technologies is a plus.
