Base Salary
$130k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform techno-functional impact analysis, software design, and code construction for software releases supporting CVS Retail Pharmacy systems.
- Participate throughout the full product development lifecycle, from solution design through production deployment.
- Build and maintain full-stack Java applications, cloud-based systems, databases, and responsive user interfaces.
- Identify and mitigate product risks before deployment to production.
- Build and drive adoption of software engineering practices across complex, scalable applications.
- Collaborate with large teams and help achieve organizational goals through effective technical and interpersonal communication.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience with enterprise or web applications.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience using Java-based technologies, including Spring Boot and microservices.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, GCP, or other public cloud services.
- At least 2 years of experience with React, Node.js, or other front-end frameworks, including responsive UI development.
- At least 5 years of database experience involving SQL, NoSQL, table structures, and data relationships.
- At least 3 years of experience with Agile development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; the posting also permits a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include retail pharmacy or healthcare experience, GraphQL or gRPC knowledge, distributed systems and cloud computing expertise, experience with mission-critical highly scalable applications, and the ability to lead adoption of engineering best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, self-direction, and team-inspiration skills are preferred.
