Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure CMMS/IWMS, BMS, IoT sensors, energy management systems, and workplace applications across client facilities.
- Build integrations among building systems, enterprise platforms, and operational tools using APIs, middleware, and custom code.
- Develop automation workflows and data pipelines for maintenance, work orders, incident management, service delivery, and unified analytics.
- Configure dashboards, reporting tools, and visualization platforms for facilities teams and client stakeholders.
- Lead technical delivery for pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, and enterprise-scale rollouts, including onsite deployment support.
- Partner with clients, facilities managers, operations teams, and internal technology groups to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve integration, data quality, connectivity, and system performance issues.
- Optimize configurations for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency, and support incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Develop reusable deployment solutions, document technical standards and procedures, and contribute field insights to product enhancements.
- Deliver training and technical documentation to operations teams and end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, systems integration, technical implementation, or solutions engineering.
- Experience with enterprise software platforms, integration technologies, and client-facing or field deployment roles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, system integration patterns, SQL, relational databases, cloud platforms, data structures, ETL processes, and data quality management.
- Understanding of facilities management operations, building systems, commercial real estate, building automation, HVAC, energy management, or workplace technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent work, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience with Maximo, ServiceNow, Planon, Archibus, Tririga, BMS, IoT platforms, smart-building technologies, BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
- Preferred familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cybersecurity, industrial control system security, Agile or project management methodologies, and relevant cloud, building-systems, or facilities-management certifications.
