Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve tools and utilities that help internal development teams work more effectively.
- Collaborate with internal development groups, business analysts, quality engineers, and architecture teams.
- Participate in and lead code reviews to support consistent engineering standards.
- Help advance LSEG’s adoption of DevOps practices.
- Develop scalable, future-focused solutions across multiple computer stacks and technologies.
- Build understanding of the financial domain to support partner teams.
- Evaluate AI tools and integrate AI-powered automation into development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as C# and C++.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, version control systems, databases, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with Python or Perl scripting, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, automated testing frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Preferred: familiarity with prompt-engineering techniques and integrating AI-powered automation into development workflows.
